How to Request Account Deletion

To help us identify and verify your request, please include the following information where applicable:

What Data May Be Deleted
Depending on the information associated with your account, we may delete or anonymize applicable personal information such as:

- Contact information voluntarily provided by you

Information That May Be Retained
Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, regulatory, record-keeping, or other legitimate purposes.
News articles, photographs, reports, complaints, or other published or submitted content may not automatically be removed when an account deletion request is processed, particularly where such content is required for legitimate editorial, legal, public-interest, or record-keeping purposes.
Some information may also remain temporarily in secure backups until those backups are routinely overwritten or deleted.
Request Verification
We may need to verify the identity or ownership of the account before processing a deletion request. This is intended to help protect users from unauthorized deletion requests.
Processing Time
We will review and verify valid deletion requests and, where reasonably possible, process the applicable deletion or anonymization request within 7 working days.
The processing period may be longer where additional verification or legal review is reasonably necessary.
